‘The Soup Investigates’ Unmasks a ‘Ferocious Terror Cell’: One Direction Fans (Exclusive Video)

E!’s new satirical news magazine show takes a unique look at American pop culture

Just as awareness of cyber bullying is on the rise, E!’s parody news magazine show, “The Soup Investigates,” proves we were targeting the wrong crew: One Direction fans.

These 12-year-old, bloodthirsty, girls appear fearless in their threatening tweets set out against GQ magazine’s recent interview with the popular British boy band, One Direction.

In TheWrap’s exclusive preview from Wednesday’s episode of “The Soup Investigates,” the show sets out to take a more in-depth look behind the tweets. Former district attorney Robin Sax weighs in on the harassing jabs at GQ.

The Soup Investigates call them “a vengeful, ferocious terror cell. [They’re] fans so obsessed that they stalk, harass, and even issue online death threats to those who dare critique their idols.”

On each episode, “The Soup Investigates” — hosted by Joel McHale — stays true to “The Soup’s” satirical and humorous tone, while also venturing out to different locations to discuss pop culture events with a funny twist.
