Stana Katic, Odette Yustman Join ‘The Double’

Michael Brandt’s spy thriller stars Richard Gere, Topher Grace and “True Blood” hunk Stephen Moyer

"Cloverfield" cutie Odette Yustman and "Castle" star Stana Katic have joined the cast of the spy thriller "The Double," Hyde Park Entertainment and Imagenation Abu Dhabi have announced.

Katic will play a feisty Russian prostitute with knowledge of some important information, while Yustman will play the likely thankless role of Topher Grace’s wife.

Richard Gere stars as a retired CIA operative who teams up with a young FBI agent (Grace) to investigate the murder of a U.S. senator. Stephen Moyer (HBO’s "True Blood") also joined the cast earlier this week.

"Wanted" screenwriter Michael Brandt makes his directorial debut on the project, which he wrote with partner Derek Haas. Principal photography begins June 21 in Detroit.

Katic recently wrapped production on the Polish brothers’ upcoming movie "For Lovers Only." She previously appeared in "Quantum of Solace" and "The Spirit."

Yustman next stars in "Operation: Endgame" and the upcoming Disney comedy "You Again" opposite Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth and Sigourney Weaver. She previously starred in David S. Goyer’s forgettable horror movie "The Unborn," as well as ABC’s "October Road."

UTA represents Katic, while ICM represents Yustman.
