There has been an awakening this Halloween.

Major online costume retailers are reporting that the top-selling costumes for this Halloween have largely been “Star Wars” related ahead of “The Force Awakens” premiere.

BuyCostumes‘ list of top 10 costumes in the men’s, women’s, children’s and group categories all feature “Star Wars” characters, namely Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper and Priness Leia. Kylo Ren, the main villain in “The Force Awakens,” is also proving popular.

Costume Super Center is also predicting a “Star Wars” victory this year. The company’s Stormtrooper costume is projected to be one the top sellers on the site this season. This will be the first time “Star Wars” has entered the company’s top five costumes in at least eight years.

Spirit Halloween said in a statement to TheWrap that “growing anticipation” for the J.J Abrams-directed sequel is driving fans to purchase costumes of both new and old characters. Staples like Boba Fett and Chewbacca are available, but fans can also dress up as Finn and Rey, the new characters played by John Boyega and Daisy Ridley respectively.

The news comes on the heels of “Star Wars’” record-breaking advance ticket sales.

According to Fandango, the site has sold eight times as many tickets as it did on the first day for the previous record holder, “The Hunger Games” in 2012 — and that’s before the 24-hour mark was reached. “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in 2010 slipped to third place in first-day advance sales.

Traffic on Fandango surged to seven times the site’s typical peak levels, a company spokesperson reported.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens in theaters on Dec. 18.
