Starz has added three new series regulars to 50 Cent-produced drama, “Power.”
Lela Loren (“Gang Related”), Naturi Naughton (“The Client List,” “Mad Men”) and Joseph Sikora (“Boardwalk Empire”) have joined already announced star Omari Hardwick on the hourlong drama.
“Power” features Hardwick as James “Ghost” St. Patrick, who’s living a double life as a wealthy New York City nightclub owner and the leader of NYC’s high-end drug trade.
Loren will play Angela Valdes, an old flame of James who unexpectedly reenters his life. Naughton will play Tasha St. Patrick, James’ wife, confidant and willing accomplice. And Sikora will play Tommy Egan, James’ childhood best friend and business partner.
Courtney Kemp Agboh (“The Good Wife”) created the drama and will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Alongside 50 Cent, Mark Canton, Randall Emmett and David Knoller serve as executive producers in association with CBS Television Studios.
“Power” goes into production on its eight-episode first season this fall and premieres next year.
