Adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s series of bestselling novels, “Outlander” follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, Claire becomes torn between her two lives.

The cast also includes Graham McTavish (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”), Gary Lewis (“Gangs of New York”) and Caitriona Balfe (“Super 8”) as Claire Randall.
