Stephen Colbert Joins Bill O’Reilly In Defense of Income Inequality (Video)

What’s with all this marriage and gender equality, “The Colbert Report” host asks

Bill O’Reilly has found the source of America’s decline in the world: equality.

The Fox News host recently traced the country’s weakening as an economic and global superpower to President Obama and Democratic lawmakers’ push for gender, income and marriage equality. Some people are more highly skilled than others, so government hand-ups can’t become hand-outs, he postulated.

Right on, exclaimed Stephen Colbert on Thursday’s edition of “The Colbert Report.”

“O’Reilly’s logic is air-tight,” Colbert noted.

“Take income inequality. Shaquille O’Neal is taller than Bill O’Reilly therefore the richest one percent of Americans should control 40 percent of the nation’s wealth,” Colbert said.

“And Bill is not quite as good-looking as George Clooney, so men should not be allowed to marry each other,” he added. “Not even Bill and George, which is too bad, because the kids would be beautiful.”

Problem solved, America. Problem solved.
