The news that the “Colbert Report” star would take over “The Late Show” was largely applauded on Twitter
The sudden revelation on Thursday that Letterman would be replaced by Colbert in 2015 drew reactions from around Twitter, with many Hollywood personalities sending well wishes to the Comedy Central star.
