Stephen Colbert on Rob Ford: ‘Chris Farley Tribute Mayor’ Is ‘Just a Social Crack Smoker’ (Video)

“It’s like how some people only smoke cigarettes when they’re strung out on heroin,” the comedian said

As Americans went to the polls, Stephen Colbert went after “Chris Farley tribute mayor” and occasional crack smoker Rob Ford of Toronto.

Ford finally came clean to reporters Tuesday, admitting that he’s tried the street drug in one of his “drunken stupors.”

“See? After a few beers he’s just a social crack smoker,” said the “Colbert Report” host. “It’s like how some people only smoke cigarettes when they’re strung out on heroin.”

Of course, it took Ford a little while to actually get the admission out. The whole news conference was a confusing game of “20 questions about the one question he was finally ready to answer,” Colbert said.

“That is the kind of blunt, straight-forward honesty crack smokers are known for,” he added.
