‘Stranger Things’ Kids Had a Motown Group With James Corden (Video)

Watch The Upside Downs reunite for one night only

The “Stranger Things” boys are pretty talented — but who knew they were triple threats? James Corden sure did, as the “Late Late Show” host apparently used to be in a Motown Band with the youngsters.

As the story goes, Corden was left back enough years to be their classmate, and so he, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp did what any modern-day middle-schooler would do — they formed a tribute group to ’60s pop music.

The gang was discovered by a Netflix executive while playing a wedding, and each landed a part on “Stranger Things” — except for Corden, that is, who tried out for the Millie Bobbie Brown’s role of “Eleven.” He had to settle for the CBS gig.

The perfectly named Upside Downs reunited on Wednesday for one night only — watch the video above.
