WMA’s former worldwide head of TV business affairs is named general counsel/exec VP, business affairs, at new shingle
Susan Brooks has joined FishBowl Worldwide Media as general counsel and executive VP of business affairs.
She previously was worldwide head of television business affairs at the William Morris Agency.She also was one of the founders of Wilshire Court Productions.
At FishBowl, the new shingle formed by Vin Di Bona and Bruce Gersh, Brooks will oversee all business affairs and legal activities and negotiate entertainment deals for FishBowl’s television, film, digital and enterprise projects, as well as distribution and financing structures.
Brooks will report to Gersh.
“Susan is well-known for crafting some of the entertainment industry’s most progressive landmark deals,” Gersh, FishBowl’s president-CEO, said in a statement. “She will forward FishBowl’s strategic position of challenging standard deal-making and embracing business models that benefit everyone – talent, studios and creative.”
