Sorry Taylor Swift but Britney Spears is now the queen of digital singles

The singer’s new song “Hold It Against Me” has beaten Taylor Swift’s record and is the top-selling digital single debut by a female solo artist.

Spears’s single sold 411,000 downloads this week. Swift’s “Today Was a Fairytale” sold 325,000 downloads in its first week.

Spears’s last major digital release, the 2008 “Womanizer,” sold 303,000 downloads.
