Literary agent Tanya Cohen is leaving the Verve talent agency and joining WME, TheWrap has learned.

It is unclear which of her clients will be joining Cohen at her new agency.

A representative from WME did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Cohen is a well-respected young agent who is still building her client list, which did not represent a significant piece of Verve’s business.

The South African-born agent’s clients include directors Kimberly Peirce (“Boys Don’t Cry,” “Carrie”), Colin Teague (“The White Queen”) and Gabriela Cowperthwaite (“Blackfish”).

After starting her career at Radar Pictures, Cohen joined Paradigm in 2009 and moved from there to Verve in 2012.
