TBS Cancels ‘My Boys’

The network pulled the plug on the sitcom after four seasons

The fourth season finale of "My Boys" Sept. 12 will be the show's last.

A TBS spokesperson confirmed the cancellation of the sitcom about a female sportswriter and her group of male friends on Tuesday. The news was first reported by Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.

"My Boys," which starred Jordana Spiro and Jim Gaffigan, debuted on November 28, 2006. The show suffered from steadily declining ratings in its fourth season.

"My Boys" was created by Betsy Thomas, former ABC Entertainment president Jamie Tarses and Conan O'Brien's manager, Gavin Polone.
