TCA: PBS to Air BBC One’s ‘Death Comes to Pemberley’

Matthew Rhys plays Mr. Darcy

PBS will air BBC One's adaptation of "Death Comes to Pemberley," the adaptation of the P.D. James' novel starring Matthew Rhys and Matthew Goode.

Getty ImagesThe novel uses the characters from Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." It combines Austen's story with a murder mystery and will air in three one-hour installments.

Rhys ("The Americans") plays Mr. Darcy and Goode (pictured) plays Mr. Wickham. 

The series is directed by BAFTA-winning director Daniel Percival. Ed Rubin executive produces for Origin Pictures. The executive producer for the BBC is Polly Hill and the executive producer for Screen Yorkshire is Hugo Heppell.

The series is adapted by Juliette Towhidi.
