‘Teen Wolf’ Star Tyler Posey Hosting Fox’s ‘Teen Choice 2014’

Teenage fan-voted awards show airs on Sunday, Aug. 10

“Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey will host Fox’s “Teen Choice 2014” awards, the network announced Sunday. Additionally, music groups Magic! and Rixton will perform live on the show.

The teen awards show, which allows voting from fans between ages 13 and 19, will air live on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be tape delayed on the West Coast.

“Teen Choice 2014” celebrates teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web. Previously announced stars scheduled to appear include Keegan Allen, Jake T. Austin, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Big Show, Jamie Blackley, Ian Harding, Kellan Lutz, MKTO, Chloë Grace Moretz, Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Gregg Sulkin, Bella Thorne and Zendaya.

The special also will feature a previously announced performance by Jason Derulo. Additional presenters, performers and nominees will be announced soon.

Tyler Posey stars on “Teen Wolf,” currently in its fourth season. Last year, the series received a Teen Choice 2013 Award for “Choice Summer TV Show,” and Posey picked up the award for “Choice Male Summer TV Star.”

The show is executive-produced by Bob Bain (“Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards”) and Michael Burg. Paul Flattery and Kelly Brock serve as producers and Greg Sills serves as supervising producer.
