Terry Crews Serenades Betty White With ‘Golden Girls’ Theme Song (Video)

The “Expendables” star also performed a few other memorable TV favorites

Terry Crews just wants to thank Betty White for being a friend.

At the taping of the 2015 TV Land Awards, Crews lip synced a number of TV theme songs in rapid succession. The hands-down winner, though, was Crews’ take on the “Golden Girls” theme song, due in no small part to the fact Crews sang it to the original “Golden Girl” herself.

White was sitting in the front row of the show when Crews hopped offstage and sang the song directly to her. The actress took it all in stride, laughing and blowing a kiss to the camera. Seth Rogen, who was seated right by White, got a good laugh out of it, too.

Crews performed a number of other TV classics, such as the themes from “The Jeffersons,” “Gilligan’s Island,” and “Friends.”
