The network has canceled the Cold War-era series after just two episodes, a source close to the network told TheWrap on Friday.

The series got off to an inauspicious start in the ratings, and fell further with its second airing on Thursday, receiving a mere 0.6 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. The second airing had just 2.9 million total viewers.

Episodes of “Shark Tank” will air in its place in the interim.

Wicked harsh! Good for you, Disney, to exhibit such ferocity. Scary cool!

    So wanted to like it
was not fun or engaging had no dramatic tension. a flat out bore

What the FUCK. Put it on abc.go or torrents please.

It deserved to have all the episodes shown. Maybe no one remembers this event, but I do and looked forward to knowing more! Everyone is not 18.

    That's very disheartening.

In an era of “reality” television nonsense, an intriguing history-based drama centering on the real-life treasonous and world-shattering exploits of Aldrich Ames is not only entertaining, but also informative (and makes us think about our own present-day “Ames”–Snowden).

Of the 3 standard networks (NBC, CBS, and ABC), I really only watch “60 Minutes” and pro football; that left ABC out, until The Assets appeared. I guess ABC is once again canceled in my household.

I enjoyed the show; gave a real view of the spy world… Tood bad that ABC didn't place the program at the 9 pm slot and run it for 4 days and 4 days sequentially…

I knew nothing about the show and just watched the first episode last night. I loved it. ABC should give it a chance to find its viewers. I was a little late but am hooked.
