‘The Flash’ Star Robbie Amell Teases Future of Firestorm (Video)

“The DUFF” actor also weighs in on the chances of a Firestorm spinoff and who he wants for it during the latest “Drinking with the Stars”

Firestorm will be back and ready to fight on Tuesday’s episode of “The Flash,” Robbie Amell told TheWrap during the latest episode of “Drinking with the Stars.”

Amell, who plays Ronnie Raymond, explained his character may be joining forces with Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) a year after their separation.

“Next episode, we’re on our own for the first time in a year, and we’re very sick of each other,” Amell said, while with TheWrap at Riviera 31 in the Sofitel Hotel in Los Angeles. “We quickly realize we’re not as separate as we thought we were, and we may have to come back together to fight one of the villains on the show.”

The CW is considering another spinoff from the same DC Comics universe that “The Flash” and “Arrow” exist in. If it’s a Firestorm series, Amell hopes “Arrow” star Stephen Amell, who is also his cousin, can cross over.

“I would want Stephen to be on an episode, for sure. I’m still trying to get on ‘Arrow’ or for him to come over to ‘The Flash’ that I’m on,” Amell said. “There’s really nobody I wouldn’t want on the show, but that’s also given that I would have a Firestorm show. I haven’t been talked to about it yet. I think there is a better chance of an Atom show happening.”

“Fallout,” the next episode of “The Flash,” premieres Tuesday at 8 p.m. on The CW.
