‘The Grand Tour’ Season 2 Trailer Packs in Crazy New Terrain, Reveals Premiere Date (Video)

Please, don’t try any of the Amazon Prime series’ new “monkey business” at home

“Well, this is important work,” Jeremy Clarkson says, laughing while speeding down a highway during “The Grand Tour” Season 2 trailer. “It is! It is.”

Well, based on what the preview has to offer “GT” fans, we couldn’t agree more.

The Amazon Prime Video exclusive series debuted the action-packed clip Wednesday and announced a premiere of Dec. 8 for the series’ second season.

In a little over two minutes, fans get a glimpse of what, and where, “Top Gear” alums Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May will be driving during the motoring TV series upcoming season. Hint: It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

In the trailer, set to Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die,” the guys are seen speeding across a snow-caked hill, muddy off-roading areas, and even taking to the water.

The only thing better than the fast cars and the introduction of skateboards (yes, really) is the plethora of British humor. In particular, Clarkson spends an embarrassing amount of time trying to get his engine started in front of some unimpressed locals in Mozambique.

The series, which became Amazon Prime’s most-streamed original series ever last November, headed to five different continents to film the upcoming season. Fans can expect to see the crew racing through locations like Croatia, Dubai, Spain, Colorado, Switzerland, New York, and more.

Check out the trailer above to get a taste of what’s coming when the new season premieres on Amazon Prime Video starting December 8.
