TheGrill Conference Expands to AFCI Locations Show in June

We are expanding our popular Grill conference to The Locations Show, a two-day gathering in downtown Los Angeles in June serving the global movie and television production industry

Exciting news: we are expanding our popular Grill conference to The Locations Show, a two-day gathering in downtown Los Angeles in June that serves the global movie and television production industry.

TheGrill@ Locations Show will take place on Friday, June 28, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will feature Wrap journalists interviewing industry leaders and innovators focused on the changing landscape of global production.

We will have a special segment on China and its place as the fastest-growing market for entertainment content of all kinds. TheGrill also will feature the latest technology and innovative products, as well as the most relevant financing incentives for producers, production managers and directors. A full program will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

"The team at TheWrap has a proven track record in attracting influential and innovative leaders in media, entertainment and technology to high level industry events like ours," said Kevin Clark, Executive Director of AFCI. "We couldn’t be more excited to have them join us as a partner this year.”

Ditto.

The Locations Show is a lynchpin event for the production side of Hollywood, organized by the Association of Film Commissioners International, the group representing more than 300 film commissioners from around the world. Their annual event brings together more than 3,000 attendees who learn about the latest in tax incentives and production benefits at different global locations.

We are incredibly excited to expand our Grill brand to another core industry audience at this gathering. This Grill@ Locations Show will focus specifically on the business imperatives of this audience and will be an entirely separate program from our annual Grill in October 2013.

Registration will open by May 1, and interested speakers should contact producer Caroline Schweich, at caroline@thewrap.com.
