TheWrap landed 7 nominations for this year’s Los Angeles Press Club Southern California Journalism Awards, the L.A. Press Club announced Sunday.

TheWrap is a finalist for Best Website, News Organization Exclusive to the Internet.

In addition, TheWrap reporter Itay Hod picked up two nominations – Entertainment Journalist of the Year and Political Column/Commentary – Election for his column, titled “Are Hitler/Trump Comparisons Fair?” The piece featured a conversation between Hod and his father, a Holocaust survivor and high school history teacher living in Tel Aviv, about possible parallels between Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler and his thoughts about the president’s support from white supremacists.

Other stories written by Hod during Trump’s rise to the presidency include the refusal of members of the Radio City Rockettes to perform at Trump’s inauguration and a report that members of Trump’s transition team offered talent bookers ambassadorships if they could provide A-list performers at the inauguration.

TheWrap’s founder and editor-in-chief Sharon Waxman and senior film reporter Matt Donnelly received a nomination for their March 2016 report on the “leadership vacuum” faced by Sony in the wake of box office struggles, the ongoing lawsuit by pop star Kesha against then-Sony-based producer Dr. Luke and the ongoing public relation struggle caused by the company’s email hack.

Managing Editor Thom Geier was nominated for Best Performing Arts criticism for his reviews of New York stage shows on Broadway and beyond.

In the photography categories, Ada Guerin received a nomination for Best Entertainment Photo for her picture of jazz dancer Travis Wall, as well as for Best Portrait for her photos of Iggy Pop. She shares the nominations with Emma MacIntyre and Elisabeth Caren, respectively.

The L.A. Press Club’s 59th Annual SoCal Journalism Awards will be held on June 25th at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

For the record, a previous version of this post incorrectly identified the name of the awards.
