The limited-edition Moёt Golden Methuselah was handcrafted by the Maison Arthus-Bertrand, the legendary French medal manufacturer commissioned by Napoleon in 1802 to produce the French Légion d’Honneur.This 6L bottle was donated by Moёt & Chandon to the Special Olympics Haiti Fund and is now available for bidding on eBay (click here to visit auction) until March 8, 2010. There are only 200 of the stunning Moёt Golden Methuselahs in the world. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Special Olympics Haiti Fund.
The Methuselah was signed by celebrities and Oscar nominees at TheWrap.com’s first annual pre-Oscar celebration on March 1, at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. The event honored the 2010 awards season nominees.
The spectacular Moët bottle, which is worth $5,000 retail, features the signatures of Robert Duvall, Adrien Brody, Morgan Freeman, Ryan Seacrest and many others.
