TheWrap kicks off its newest weekly video series “Trailer Trash Talk” with some hard-knock commentary on the latest trailer for Sony’s “Annie” remake starring Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Rose Byrne.
In the inaugural episode, TheWrap’s Executive Editor Joseph Kapsch, film reporter Linda Ge, blogger/reporter Travis Reilly and social media coordinator Rebecca Rosenberg take on the trailer. Unfortunately, they weren’t impressed.
Then again, they’re not exactly the target audience the studio is expecting to buy tickets when the PG-rated family comedy “Annie” hits theaters on Dec. 19.
