Thomas Sadoski Preps for Terrible Blind Date in New ‘Life in Pieces’ Clip (Exclusive Video)

First season finale of CBS comedy series airs Thursday

“Life in Pieces” teaches viewers a very important lesson in blind dates in the season finale.

In an exclusive clip of the finale obtained by TheWrap, Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Joan (Dianne Wiest) talk to Matt (Thomas Sadoski) about Jen’s coworker, Dougie (guest-star Fortune Feimster), whom she has set up on a blind date with Matt.

Later in the first season finale, Tim (Dan Bakkedahl) thinks that wearing a Cinderella dress during March Madness is good luck, so he refuses to take it off in hopes his alma mater will win.

Also, Greg (Colin Hanks) fantasizes about what to write in a birthday card for his boss, and Tyler (Niall Cunningham) goes to prom and must withstand unsolicited advice from his parents and grandparents.

In part two of the one-hour finale, John (James Brolin) and Joan reveal a shocking secret they’ve kept from their kids for 35 years. Also, Greg quits his job after creating a public funding campaign for his own invention, and Matt plans to make a big announcement at his and Colleen’s (Angelique Cabral) book party.

The one-hour season finale of “Life in Pieces” airs this Thursday beginning at 8:30 p.m./7:30 central on CBS.
