Good-bye, Will Forte; hello … Paul Brittain, Taran Killam and Vanessa Bayer?
So says the blog The Comic's Comic. The three comics, it says, are set to join "Saturday Night Live" for its upcoming 36th season.
Widespread speculation and rumors always swirl around the "SNL" cast each fall, but this year's guessing game promises to be especially intense due the departure of Forte.
And these latest reports do have some credibility. The Comic's Comic is operated by former New York Daily News comedy reporter Sean McCarthy, one of the best connected insiders in the scene.
McCarthy said "multiple sources are confirming" the additions of Brittain, Killam and Bayer.
The next season of "Saturday Night Live" begins Sept. 25 on NBC.
