Tiger Woods is ready to take a swing at outlets that are circulating nude photos of himself and his ex-girlfriend, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

The golfer is threatening legal action against web sites that have posted the images, which were reportedly acquired through a hack of Vonn’s cell phone.

Woods’ attorney, Michael Holtz, told TheWrap on Tuesday that take-down notices have been sent to the web sites that have posted the images, and that the majority of sites have complied or plan to comply with the notice.

“The posting of these illegally hacked photos is a despicable invasion of our client’s privacy, and we will aggressively pursue any websites who seek to capitalize on or encourage this outrageous conduct,” Holtz said in a statement.

In a separate statement to People, Vonn’s spokesman also vowed legal action over the leak.

“It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos,” the spokesman said. “Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests. She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law.”
