Time Inc. Names Jed Hartman Group Publisher of News and Business

Time Inc. reshuffled its top ranks at Time, Fortune, Money and CNNMoney

Time Inc. said Wednesday that it named Jed Hartman the group publisher of news and business in a reshuffling at the company's top ranks.

via Zimbio.comIn a memo to staff, Todd Larsen, who oversees news and sports, said Hartman would take charge of ad sales and marketing for Time, Fortune, Money and CNNMoney.

Hartman previously served as worldwide publisher of Fortune and CNNMoney, where he led two years of consecutive advertising growth. Before that, he served as publisher of The Week for three years.

Time also tapped Brendan Ripp as the vice president of sales for Fortune, a newly created role in this executive switch-up.

Larsen said the company would soon announce lead sales executives for Time and Money.

"Jed's appointment, and putting this new structure in place, are the first steps in taking our news and business titles to their best position for long-term growth," Larsen said in the memo. "I look forward to working with all of you on these exciting efforts."
