The series also dominated on social media, causing three trending terms on Twitter and becoming the No. 4 most social primetime cable program (excluding sports events).
On Tuesday’s one-hour premiere episode, Bill Klein, Jennifer Arnold and their adopted son Will arrived in India to pick up the new addition to their family, daughter Zoey — after more than a year of preparation and 20 hours of traveling.
The excitement of their new daughter was tempered by Arnold’s health. She would later be diagnosed with a rare cancer.
