Former vice presidential candidate returns to Alaska to be with hospitalized husband
Former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has canceled her scheduled appearance at an event for GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, after her husband Todd Palin suffered “a bad snow machine accident.”
With Todd Palin hospitalized, Sarah Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband, Trump’s campaign said Monday.
Palin had been scheduled to appear at a Trump event at The Villages, Florida, but was forced to cancel just minutes before the event was due to begin.
Trump’s campaign said that Palin “looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon,” adding that “Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
