Tom Petty has been hospitalized after he was found unconscious in his Malibu home on Sunday night, TMZ reports.
Petty, 66, was found under cardiac arrest and in critical condition, and was taken to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital and put on life support, according to TMZ. The site is reporting that doctors have since taken him off life support due to a lack of brain activity.
Representatives for Petty’s team did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
