Top 20 Ratings: NFL Hall of Fame Game Pushes ‘America’s Got Talent’ to 2nd Place

Football is back and it’s pushing its TV competition to the sidelines.

The NFL Hall of Fame Game ran on Sunday, topping last week’s ratings with a 2.8 in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic — and in the process, knocking fellow NBC property “America’s Got Talent” to second place.

In that spot, Tuesday’s “AGT” tied with the New York Giants vs. Buffalo Bills pre-game show, each with a 2.4 rating.

In fourth place, “Big Brother” hauled in a 2.3 on Wednesday. While that night’s “Talent” and Thursday’s “Big Brother” tied for fifth place with a 2.2 rating in the live plus same day numbers.

“The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose” special and “MasterChef” both received 2.1’s on Monday, good for seventh.

Rounding out the Top 10 was “American Ninja Warrior,” Sunday’s “Big Brother” and “The Bachelorette” season finale, each with a 2.0.

To make the Top 20 last week, a show had to hit the 1.2 mark in the demo.
