Comedian says his former “30 Rock” co-star needs to “chill out”

Tracy Morgan is “worried” about the direction former “30 Rock” costar Alec Baldwin‘s life has taken since the show ended last year.

“I’m concerned about the structure of his life,” Morgan said in an interview with New York Times Magazine promoting his upcoming Comedy Central standup special, “Bona Fide.”

“He’s getting fired from TV shows. He had about six fights since we left ’30 Rock,’ you know. I’m worried about him,” Morgan added.

Baldwin’s short-lived MSNBC talk show, “Up Late,” was canceled in November after the actor was involved in a tiff with paparazzi in which he allegedly used an anti-gay slur.

Morgan, who is no stranger to controversy, said that raising his new daughter mellowed him out, and suggested Baldwin turn to family to do the same.

“Chill out, raise your family and enjoy your wife and your daughter,” Morgan told the Times. “The paparazzi do what they do, man. They have a job, too.”
