Ratings: ABC's 'Killer Women' Sinks to New Low

The new, Sofia Vergara-produced drama ties lowest original Tuesday telecast of the season across the “Big 4”

ABC's “Killer Women” was not resuscitated last night, as the series’ second episode dropped, tying the lowest original Tuesday telecast of the season across the so-called “Big 4” networks.

“Killer Women” earned a 0.7 — a 22 percent drop from last week's 0.9-rated premiere, which was the second lowest-rated premiere of the fall, only behind the same network's “Assets,” which was the lowest-rated scripted debut in Big 4 network history. “Assets” was subsequently canceled.

CBS was tops in both the key demo ratings and in viewers on Tuesday night. The network was first in ratings with a 2.5 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in total viewers with an average of 15.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., “NCIS” earned a 3.0/9 and 19.5 million viewers — making it the highest-rated and most-watched show of the night. “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 9 received a 2.4/6 and 15.9 million viewers. “Person of Interest” at 10 got a 2.0/6 and 12.3 million viewers.

Didn't even know it was on with Person of Interest on opposite of this mishmosh!
Person of Interest is a killer show hands down.

    • John Dory

Agreed. Show just keeps getting stronger and stronger. Terrific cast and writers.

Can you say writing on the wall?

  • Devin McMusters

Maybe if Sofia Vergara had actually been in Killer Women, we would have known it was on. Never heard of it, but I'll check it out On Demand.

What about Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Shouldn't it have a ratings bump after the Golden Globes? I don't see it. Obviously, the show still needs a lot of work — it's just not that funny, the characters have no depth and the writing can be awful — but have viewers already given up on it?

People need to give this a chance, it's really pretty good

The show is outstanding. It would be even better with guest appearances from the old cast of Walker Texas Ranger. People still watch reruns.
