Ratings: The CW's '100' Debuts to Biggest Time Period Audience Since 2010

Pilot pulls in 2.7 million viewers at 9 p.m. on Wednesday

CBS and Fox tied for first in ratings on Wednesday, as The CW's “100” premiered to the network's most viewers in the time period since 2010.

CBS and Fox each had with a 2.2 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. CBS was first in viewers with 9.9 million, Fox was second with 9.7 million. “Survivor” beat “Idol” in audience size for the first time ever.

For CBS, “Survivor at 8 p.m. was the top-rated show of the night with a 2.4/8 and had 9.6 million viewers. “Criminal Minds” at 9 earned a 2.2/7 and 10.1 million viewers. “CSI” at 10 received a 2.0/6 and 10.1 million viewers — the most eyeballs of the night.

For Fox, “American Idol” was the only show on the schedule.

NBC was third in ratings with a 1.4/4 and in viewers with 5.2 million. “Revolution” at 8 got a 1.2/4 — a new low — and 4.3 million viewers. “Law and Order:SVU” at 9 had a 1.5/4 and 5.6 million viewers. “Chicago PD” at 10 received a 1.4/4 and 5.7 million viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 1.1/3 and in viewers with 3.8 million. In between reruns, “Mixology” at 9:30 got a 1.2/3 — down 20 percent — and 3.6 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 1.0/3 and in total viewers with 2.6 million.

The CW was sixth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and 2.5 million viewers. “Arrow” at 8 had a 0.8/3 and 2.4 million viewers. At 9, the premiere of “The 100” earned a 0.9/3 and 2.7 million viewers. “The 100” was also The CW's most watched midseason premiere in four years (“Life Unexpected” in 2010).

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/1 and in total viewers with 1.2 million.
