Slow Down, Alec Baldwin: No Plans to End '30 Rock’

NBC insider says there have been no talks about it ending

Slow down there, Alex Baldwin: An NBC insider says there has been no talk about the show ending — except from its star.

Baldwin made NBC's real-life Jack Donaghys raise their eyebrows when he told New York Magazine's Vulture on Tuesday that the show would end next year. But the insider assures TheWrap that isn't the case.

Baldwin has made no secret of his plans to leave the show next year, but that doesn't mean it can't go on without him. Bosses are feeling a little replaceable at NBC Thursday night sitcoms, lately, given Steve Carell's impending departure from "The Office."

Of course, how that plays out remains to be seen. And we don't which would be worse: "30 Rock" sans Jack or no "30 Rock" at all.
