“Friends With Benefits” star Holland will play the White House press secretary in the comedy
Andre Holland has joined the cast of NBC's presidential comedy pilot "1600 Penn." "Friends With Benefits" actor Holland will play Marshall Malloy, the White House press secretary.
The pilot, which follows a dysfunctional First Family, is co-written and co-executive produced by "Book of Mormon" co-star Josh Gad, who will also star as the out-of-control oldest son of the family, who returns home and "becomes not only it’s biggest liability but also the glue holding everyone together."
Bill Pullman and Brittany Snow also star, as the President and First Daughter, respectively.
"Modern Family" writer Jason Winer and former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett are also co-writing and co-executive producing the pilot.
