BBC Head: Fewer U.S. Shows in the Future

Mark Thompson, head of the BBC, says the corporation will spend less money on U.S. shows in future.

Speaking in London Thursday, the BBC director-general said that following the digital switchover in 2012, the pubcaster will spend a higher proportion of the license fee -- paid by all U.K. TV-watching homes -- on domestic fare.
