Jeffrey Wright will play a Harlem kingpin in upcoming season of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire"
Jeffrey Wright is moving on from hanging out with James Bond to rubbing elbows with Nucky Thompson.
Wright, who played Felix Leiter in the 007 films "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace," has signed on as a regular for the upcoming fourth season of the HBO hit "Boardwalk Empire."
He will play Harlem kingpin Valentin Narcisse.
The actor is no stranger to HBO, having appeared in the miniseries "Angels in America" and starring in the 2001 HBO film "Boycott," about a public-bus boycott during the civil-rights movement in the 1950s.
The series also recently signed "Office Space" star Ron Livingston as a regular, portraying businessman Roy Philips.
Wright also has a role in the upcoming sequel "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
Deadline first reported the news of Wright's "Boardwalk Empire" casting.
