Project will revolve around three diverse families with a common biological father
Former "Desperate Housewives" showrunner Bob Daily and "Grey's Anatomy" executive producer Mark Gordon are ready to get even more dramatic with ABC.
Gordon and Daily (pictured) have sold a family drama to the network, an ABC spokeswoman told TheWrap.
The as-yet-untitled project revolves around three diverse families who share a common biological father, described as "a successful bachelor in his 40s who’s completely unprepared to embrace the family he never knew he wanted."
Gordon and Daily will executive-produce the project, which comes from ABC Studios and the Mark Gordon Company, along with the Mark Gordon Company's Nicholas Pepper.
Daily will write the project with Pierce Gardner ("Dan in Real Life," "Checkmate").
News of the project was first reported by Deadline.
