Emmys 2013 by the Numbers: HBO, 'Asylum,' 'Game of Thrones' Lead

TheWrap breaks down which networks and shows nabbed the most nominations

HBO topped the list of Thursday's Emmy Awards nominations with a huge 108 nominations. No other cable network came close with Showtime taking the No. 2 slot at 51 noms.

As for broadcast, NBC and CBS tied with 53 noms each. ABC came in third at 45.

HBO's fantasy drama, "Game of Thrones," was the premium cable's most recognized series. It took away 16 noms, including Best Drama, making it the most nominated drama series this year.

But, FX's "American Horror Story: Asylum" tops the list for most nominations. The Ryan Murphy-produced show walked away with a whopping 17, including Best Miniseries. In total, FX nabbed 26 noms.

Notably, Netflix walked away with 14 nominations, including Best Drama for "House of Cards."
