Eddard Stark gets topped off in gruesome new image for HBO's “Game of Thrones”
"Game of Thrones" fans are most likely losing their heads waiting for the season two premiere of HBO's hit swords-and-dragons epic.
But hey, at least they're not alone.
A new poster for the "Game of Thrones" sophomore run has emerged, and it's pretty graphic even by the show's standards, depicting a decapitated Eddard Stark's head impaled on a pike. Youch…
Amazingly enough, the poster does have a slight cute factor going for it; at the WonderCon convention in Anaheim this weekend, where the poster will have its official premiere, fans who visit the "Game of Thrones" booth will be able to have their own heads swapped into the image.
Nice to see HBO's marketing folks using their noggins…
Is the new "Game of Thrones" poster too gruesome … or just gruesome enough? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
