The Hub has some holiday gifts for the world.
The newly formed family cable channel will use Christmas and New Year's to premiere two new original shows -- “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting: The Series,” and “Dan Vs.,”
The Hub is a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro.
The R.L. Stine series is a half-hour show that will feature the best-selling children's horror show. It will debut on Christmas Day with two episodes back-to-back.
For its other holiday entry, the channel will premiere “Dan Vs." on New Year's day. The animated show will center on Dan, a lovable misanthrope who takes on different adversaries.
