Fox has picked up a pilot by Tim Kring, who created the successful NBC drama “Heroes,” network officials confirmed to TheWrap.

The show, called “Touch,” is about an autistic, mute boy who can predict future events, and the boy’s father. The project was developed as a spec script and Fox ordered it to pilot. No director or cast has been attached.

Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope, of Chernin Entertainment, are executive producers, along with Kring.
