Oprah Winfrey's latest book club selection is Jonathan Franzen's "Freedom," the Associated Press reports citing three booksellers. Winfrey is scheduled to announce her pick Friday.
The move would mean Winfrey and Franzen have patched up their relationship nine years after Winfrey withdrew an invitation for Franzen to appear on her show after he was less than pleased she chose his "The Corrections" for her club.
"Freedom" has been atop best-seller lists since its late August release, and earning a Time magazine cover for Franzen.
"Freedom" is Winfrey's 64th pick and presumably one of her last as she enters the final season of her daytime talk show.
