Bruce will play Bart Winslow, the younger man and Corrine's (Heather Graham) father's attorney. He'll become her second husband. Because he's unaware that Corrine has children, he will be one of the excuses she uses for leaving her kids with her mother, Olivia (Ellen Burstyn), a Lifetime representative told TheWrap.
As TheWrap first reported, the cable network greenlit a movie based on the popular V.C. Andrews novel about four children abandoned by their mother, Corrine (Heather Graham), and kept in the attic for years by their fanatically religious grandmother, Olivia (Ellen Burstyn). Catherine and Chris are the two eldest children who later carry on an incestuous relationship.
Bruce joins Graham, Burstyn and AMC's "Mad Men" actress Kiernan Shipka and newcomer Mason Dye, who play the eldest children Catherine and Chris, respectively.
On the BBC America sci-fi series, "Orphan Black," Bruce plays Paul Dierden, who's dating Beth's boyfriend, and later becomes Sarah's lover — both played by Tatiana Maslany. His other TV credits include soap operas "Passions" and "As the World Turns," "Las Vegas," and "NCIS." He will be appearing in a two-episode guest arc on the second season of The CW's "Arrow."
He is represented by Pacific Artists Management and Michael Bruno Group.
