It looks like Leslie Knope will have a formidable opponent in her "Parks and Recreation" run for city council.
Vulture reports that Paul Rudd will play her political rival, and that the actor shot scenes late last year. The "Role Models" and "I Love You Man" star will appear in at least one episode, the site said.

The pairing would re-team "Wet Hot American Summer" castmates Rudd and Amy Poehler, who plays Knope.
NBC declined to comment.
