Rachelle Lefevre will be spending a lot of time at the doctor's office this fall.
The former "Twilight" star, who played Victoria in the first two installments of the vampire franchise, has landed a role in the upcoming CBS drama "A Gifted Man," scheduled to premiere this fall. Lefevre will play Kate, a doctor at a family clinic, an individual familiar with the casting confirms to TheWrap.
The series stars "Watchmen" actor Patrick Wilson as Michael Holt, an ultra-competitive surgeon whose life is sent on a new path when his deceased wife (Jennifer Ehle) begins dispensing advice to him from beyond the grave.
Interestingly, Lefevre played a medic in her last TV stint, as Dr. Ryan Clark on the ABC drama "Off the Map," which was canceled in April.
