CBS confirms that former "Battlestar Galactica" tough girl Katee Sackhoff has landed a guest role as "feisty" Detective Reed on the aging procedural "CSI."
Sackhoff's addition to "CSI" comes three years after CBS executives reportedly shot down producer attempts to permanently cast her on the show as a replacement to Jorja Fox.
It also comes a year after she joined "24" for its final faded go-around
