Some 'American Idol Live' Dates Canceled

At least seven dates on the “American Idol Live!” summer tour have evaporated.

When the tour, which features the Top 10 “American Idol” contestants from the 2010 season, was announced, it was to run from July 1 (in Auburn Hills, Mich.) to Sept. 16 (in Portland, Me.).

But a revised schedule posted on the Web site of the tour promoter Live Nation listed seven canceled dates in August and September, including stops in Omaha, Neb.; Kansas City, Mo.; Toronto; and Cleveland.
