Six one-hour episodes will air in 2014
A new unscripted We TV series will follow R&B trio Sisters With Voices — perhaps better known as SWV — as the group makes a comeback attempt.
Six one-hour episodes of “SWV – Sisters With Voices” will air in early 2014. Of course, one could say that the group has already made a successful comeback by landing a reality show, but why quibble?
“The journey of SWV is the kind of real and personal comeback story our viewers love to see,” said Lauren Gellert, WE TV's senior vice president of original production and development. “These dynamic women experienced enormous success together, then it all fell apart. United again, the stakes are higher than ever, and so – at times – is the drama and tension. We can't wait to present this fresh, new series to WE tv viewers.”
Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson broke up after '90s success, then reunited after 15 years apart.
“Sisters With Voices” is produced for WE tv by Entertainment One Television, executive produced by Tara Long, John Morayniss, Jeff Hervert, Howie Miller and Jennifer Long. Kate Farrell serves as the executive producer for WE tv.
